reserving a room

was wondering if it is possible to get a reservation via mail (USPS) or email if i cant call for some reason?

would it be possible to reserve a room by going to the hotel in person and paying in cash? i don have a credit card and anytime i try and call my phone spazes and freaks out at me. if you can give me an idea why that is that would be great but thats not my concern atm. if you could let me know soon as you get a chance to that would be great. thank you and have a great day
