Cancellation charges?

Once a reservation is made for a hotel room at the Westin, what are the charges, if any, to cancel a reservation?

As always, any information appreciated.

Cancel by 6pm Hotel time 1 Day(s) prior to avoid 1 Night penalty
Room taxes may be charged on penalties.
