Lost Artwork!
Help!
In the half-hour or so just prior to closing cermonies, somewhere between the Art Show and the Pittsburgh Ballroom, I lost a piece of art I had purchased during the voice auction on Sunday afternoon. The piece is by Quaylak and titled, "No Evil". It shows three wolf pups, one wearing dark glasses ("See no evil"), one wearing headphones ("Hear no evil"), and the third with a squeaky ball in his mouth ("Speak no evil").
I paid $200 for the piece in the auction, so I'd REALLY like to get it back! If found, please turn it in to ConOps in the Westin Convention Center Hotel, or contact me directly at the following:

Thanks!
$200? Id knew id freak out if i lost a piece of art for that amount.
Well I hope you find it or someone turns it in. Good luck.
P.S. Its nice to see a fellow furry fan from south texas (I live in Laredo BTW which is a few hours to the northwest of Edinburg).
I live in Texas, the home state of George W. Bush. I apologize.
Sorry, Rebel! I called DLCC lost and found and they haven't seen it, either.
Hi Jeff/Rebel!
I just received an e-mail from Kage himself telling me what happened. I'm so terribly sorry you've misplaced the picture, but so incredibly grateful to you for purchasing my puppies. I heard it was quite the auction and you were very pleased to have won the piece (which makes me feel even more awful that you do not currently have it).
Unfortunately, I did not get the chance to scan it before we left for the convention, but I did manage to snap a picture of it so I could upload it to my galleries. If you'd like, I can send you a photo of the original to print out, just so you can have something to show for the money you spent. I am also going to completely redo the piece so you may also have an original made by me (I'll try and get it as close to the first piece as I can). I'll be sending it out to the address you provided in your post, so let me know if that's incorrect. And also, what is your e-mail address so I can send you a photo of the original?
Thank you so much again, and I'm sorry for what happened! Here's hoping it turns up eventually. I look forward to hearing from you!

Now, that's what I *love* about furries - how many other people would be willing to redo a piece of lost work ? *hugs* to all !!
Thank you so much for your kind offer, Quaylak! My apologies for not replying sooner, but I've been both under the weather and up to my ears in overdue apartment maintenance!

I look forward to hearing from you soon!

If you get back, scan it. That sounds like a lovely piece and I would love to see it.
