Kinda screwy idea but I am thinking of bringing my M&M books and materials with me to run certain things in a furry vein. Since Mutants and Masterminds makes no special deals for being human as to being a non-human I figure this to be the perfect venue to sim furry supers. In honor of the current theme I have the following ideas: A simulation in the reality of the Shawntee Howard's Extinctioners universe using your own characters drawn from the Archtypes available. A kind of furry version of Legion of Super Heroes. Street Level campaign in the vein of Cyberpunk Furry Pulp style sci-fi in the vein of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. |

As far as Anthro heores go, I presonally prefer the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles And Other Strangeness, Heroes Unlimited, and After The Bomb, d20 games, all by Palladium press. ^^ Never played M&M, tho, so I don't know which is better..

M&M uses the D20 for resolution of combat and skill checks among other things. It's (very) loosely based on D&D. Save they took out classes and put in a point buy system for character creation. They also have archetypes which can work as pre-gen characters. It can be very customizable which is why I like it. Sometimes better than D&D itself. In some ways it wants to be a simplified hybrid of D&D and the Hero system.

One of the reasons I am thinking of using M&M is because I'll have less books to carry. Beyond my notes and the arctype pdfs, I'll only have a few books to carry. As opposed to D&D or D20 Modern.
The Great Wolf has awoken once more to terrorize the fools that brought about Ragnarok to begin with: Christianity.

permalinkNew con, new signature, but I am still planning on bringing some of my books to the con this year. I will be traveling lighter this year than ever. I may just try and run a themed game this year, taking more than a few cues from the old adventure Pulps and run something in a jungle somewheres.
