Who is certain that they will be attending AC2010?
Hi all,
I am beginning to work out some basic ideas for AC2010, and am curious who all will be there? I have a specific idea that I'm starting to work on, and am wondering who all might be available to work with me on the project?

Thanks everyone for the info. 
I am working on the groundwork and base idea for this project. As I come closer to actually having the framework and needs for this, I'll be reaching out to folks through contact on the forums. Every person who has shown an interest in participating has been noted, so even if you haven't received anything yet, don't worry...you will! And folks can continue to let us know that thye intend to come so that when information is sent out, you can be sure to receive it.
I will probably start setting up overall plans with anyone interested around late January to early February. So if you are interested, please be sure you are commenting here. Then keep an eye out in your message box on this site and I'll be sending the info out. Sorry for not giving out details at this time, but I'd like to make certain that we have as many details in order prior to letting folks know what we'll be doing.

I'm as certain as I ever am, of attending.
I plan on bringing or meeting a few people there who also plan on attending.
(I wouldn't sign a contract guaranteeing my attendance, but I'm as definite
as I was the past few cons, and I plan on doing panels again.)
With that in mind, it's not very likely that I can work on your project.
(I have 2 projects of my own.) However, I'm willing to hear it, and be
sworn into secrecy whether or not I can help. Perhaps I CAN help.
Or can signal someone to check in who can help.
Either way, telling me shouldn't be a PROBLEM.

I've got my plane tickets reserved and my mouse is waiting for registration and hotel reservations to come up, and the days are blocked off from work, so I'm as certain as I can be at this point that I will be coming. :>
Perhaps, I know I'm going to be making it, even if my antique auto has to take the journey.
I will most certainly be attending in 2010, as for my Mom...well unfortuntly she's going to miss it. (Dad's taking her to Minnesota to meet up with his family she hasn't seen for a long time, so her vaction time is going to be used up for that.)
Anyways, now I'm curious on what your project is K.P., what do you have in mind?

I'll be there, but I'll be spending most of my time in the Dealers Room during the day and running PonyCon-4 room party during the evenings. It's been years since I've last attended AnthroCon. I've always heard good things about AnthroCon, which is one of the main reasons I decided to debut a new product idea there in 2010.

Seeing as how I live about 5 minutes from the convention center, I'm pretty sure I'll be there!
Aw, you're only five minutes away? Cheater! It'd take me about 10 to get there!
come on I live 20 min away but I have to take the bus so it will be more like a hour.....I HATE YOU PITTSBURGH PORT AUTHORITY.
Damn i am about 45mins away from the con but hehehehe it only takes me about 25 - 30 min to get there 
If only I would be so lucky, during anthrocon, I will spend about 2 hours a day on a city bus, sounds like fun to me, and they dont come at times that are good for you, I am going to anthrocon 3 hours before it starts, or 4 after, I think I will be killing time, before anthrocon, maybe volunteer, because I have to be there before it starts anyway.

well i have as mutch a chancde as any other teen fur, just got to convince my dad to fdrive me 8 and a half hours, whats the plan? (if its heavy lifting im good for that too)
Myself and my mate will most definitely be there! 
We've been planning it since the last one ended. We met there, so it has even more meaning for us. I am also thinking two more of my friends will be there as well.

Regarding the project: Is it something that would require hands-on work and/or face-to-face meetings (for preparation)? If so, then... well, Ohio and Florida aren't exactly near each other, and that could be a problem for me.
Still, I will definitely be at AC 2010.
Provided my form of vehicular transportation behaves in June, yeah.
I'll be there even if I have to quit another job!
I should very much like to be there - and will tentatively plan for such - but I cannot chisel that promise in stone.
