I am guessing that you can not auction off wine, but what about animal shaped wine bottles, providing that they are empty? I have one cat shaped bottle at the moment, and if the PALCB can order me more of this kind of wine I may have more. Kage and 2 may have to help me empty more of them when I get there though. |

While alcohol is not permitted, empty bottles are. Please clean them before donating. For best auction results, I would recommend removing all labels and residue from the outside as well so that they can be offered as decorative items and not have that "empty beer can" vibe.

Would this be the Schwartzkatz bottle? If so, which color? They've a black, a red, and a cobalt blue one.
Not that I know anything about these. I read about it somewhere, really...

permalinkAll i know about it is thats it is from the Moselland winery. It is a Riesling, and is comes from the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer area. And the bottle I have at the moment is Green/teal. And if I can get them I am getting a case or two for AC. And do plan on giving some to you. I was a very tasty wine, I drank the whole bottle at one sitting which is not normal for me. For 2 I am tracking down some Rauchbeir. I still have not figured out what to get Giza, as he expressed an interest in stopping by our room to partake in some libations.

Funny, we had plenty of single malt Scotch, but you didn't seem to make it past the dutch chocolate vodka...

If only the bottle would have stopped running around the table, I could have finished it!

permalinkIt looks like I will have only one cat bottle to bring. Although the PALCB was able to find the wine, it sells for $20.00 per bottle with a 12 bottle minimum order. As much as I would like to bring that much, it is simply out of my price range this year.

Use your best judgement as to whether a single, empty bottle of wine will be able to garner the minimum required bid of $5.

They're very nice bottles. Cleaned properly and in perfect condition, they would probably meet the minimum bid, at least. I wouldn't expect a windfall, though.
