Ok, I’ve reviewed over some of the point values of the room (free nights, upgrades, etc..) and I got a few questions relating to the membership program, mostly relating to redeeming points.

Its 7000 points for a free night at the Westin because it’s a category 3 hotel, but the point value looks like it might be based upon the $306 a night normal price without the convention discount. I’m curious if the convention discount could or already does apply to the required Starwood points for a free night. So, considering its 7000 normally (300 a night) it would be roughly about 2000-2500 points, maybe even 3000 points, for a free night if the Anthrocon discount were applied to the Starwood membership program. I suppose I’m rambling, so Ill just simplify the question. Would the Anthrocon discount apply to the amount of Starwood points required to get a free night?

Just trying to figure out some things before I decide whether or not I want to come to AC yet. Im still working pretty often and taking time off for it would be a big issue.
