As of today, January 23, the Westin has sold out of double rooms. The only rooms left have king-sized beds. You can still make a reservation for a king room, and then check back periodically between now and then convention to see if there have been any cancellations, or you can try the Omni just up the road. |

Damn, was waiting until mid-Feb before reserving a room. Hopefully one will open up.
EDIT:: Any chance there is a waiting list for cancellations?

If you have a Credit Card, (and I understand many people don't) you really should reserve the moment you can, as long as you keep track of your plans, you'll know far enough in advance to cancel if you end up unable to go. On the same thread, Kage is right in that you should reserve a king and hope a double opens up, I am sure several will

I think so. Works quite efficiently, although it's somewhat hard to find. In order to keep it running properly, though, you probably have to download periodic patches such as icoffee and isake.
They can't advertise it right now because the hardware keeps emitting low-pitched grinding noises every time you get it in front of a tv camera. But that's just a little bug.

Well see, that's why I'm wondering if there's a waiting list that I can get put on.
But I'll see about booking a king for now.
