I figured I'd post this up here, mainly because I can't find the one lady who I have to contact directly to ask. Sad I booked on Feb 2nd and was e-mailed a confirmation. Later on, I went to the Westin's website and input my last name along with my credit card number and also my reservation number; the website said it could not confirm my reservation. So, I called up the Westin and asked about it, they said that my reservation has been confirmed in the database and the guy offered to resend my confirmation. So, I was relieved. Today, I decided to check on it again, with the new confirmation e-mail, just for the heck of it, and the same thing happened; the website cannot find my reservation. Is this some sort of error? Puzzled

Most likely a problem with the website. As long as your reservation is in their database you will be fine.

A couple things (maybe one or both will help you):

- There are two Westin websites that you can use to check. The one linked from the Anthrocon website goes to starwoodmeeting.com. The other, which comes from your confirmation e-mail message, goes to starwoodhotels.com. For whatever reason, those sites aren't fully connected to each other. You'll be able to find your reservation at the starwoodmeeting address, and not at the starwoodhotels address.

- When you complete the fields to submit for the reservation check, be sure you're using the last name you supplied when you made the reservation. For me, the last name listed in the confirmation message is not exactly the same as the name on the credit card I used. When I use the credit card's last name value, the site (starwoodmeeting.com) returns the reservation data. When I use the other value, I get nothing.

Yeah, I just had the same issue tonight, but as long as you can talk to somebody, and they confirm your reservation you "Should" be taken care of. I also asked them to forward another copy of the reservation to my e-mail. Which I printed it out so I can take that with me to the hotel. Just in case. I strongly suggest you do the same.
