Yes, they are. You must already have a reservation to request the fursuit floor.
The complete list is given to the front desk, who blocks off the floors in question. When someone on the list checks in, they are put onto the fursuit floor, while someone not on the list is put on a different floor. Of course, once the "different" floors fill up, the hotel has no choice but to start putting people on the fursuit floor, so it is best to get there early!

permalinkThis seems like a proper thread to ask a couple of questions rather then start a new fursuit floor thread. With the Fursuit floor is there a perfered number of suiters you'd like to have a room before a request is place (right now I'm the only suiter in my room) and second if a Request is placed for the fursuit floor may that request be recinded by me before the convention or once we request a fursuit floor room we are locked into said request.

1) No.
2) You can always rescind the request, although hopefully you would do it soon enough that someone else would be able to request that room.

permalinkI'll hold off on Requesting a Fursuit Floor room for now. I'd like to at least have 2 suiters in the room. To me it doesn't seem poper to take up an entire fursuit floor room for just 1 suit. Thank you for the Answers UncleKage

permalinkThere's a guy named Firehopper who's still looking for a room I believe. Nice guy too, has a suit that requires quite a bit of help getting into and out of. If you have space for him, check out his request for room in the "room share" board.
And here's the link to his request for space. He may or may hot have taken up someone's offer but it's worth asking him right?

how would one get on the fursuit floor. I remember last year we PMed you with our reservation numbers but with the new forums, there arent any PMs anymore. Do we email someone? and if so, who?
