This might be kind of a stupid question
But how long exactly will Anthrocon be...I dunno, occurring? Is it indefinite? I'm a service member and I don't have the time to attend, and probably won't for several years yet. I don't want to finally have the time and money to attend the con and find out that it's no longer operative. I'm not sure how to ask this question, I hope it makes sense XD
We plan to operate Anthrocon indefinitely, or until we all somehow come to our senses. And the latter's not going to happen anytime soon. 
As mentioned, Anthrocon has space at the convention center booked through 2014. We're financially stable; we've grown in attendance by leaps and bounds[*1], we're still having fun with this thing. When you can finally swing the cash and the military leave to attend, we hope you shall; God willing, we'll still be here.

So far they have the dates booked with the convention center out until 2014. It will continue to go on after that year, that's just how far out they have booked so far. I don't see it stopping anytime in the near future.
