Hello

In all of our standard rooms we are equipped with other furniture in addition to the bed such as a lounge chair, end table, desk & chair, etc. which takes up a lot of space, so I do not feel there is enough room for an air mattress.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Thank you

Last year, 3 of my friends and i shared one of those King bed rooms. We found that we could fit 3 women into the bed (so long as they din't need much in the way of personal space, and one of them was willing to be in the middle). As i recall, it took a little negotiation to figure out the sleeping order. *grin*

By air mattress, do you mean one of those big ol' mattressy jobbies that's about the size of a twin bed? My exprerience, as the person who took the floor, indicates that it wouldn't fit. The space between one piece of furniture and the next is just too tight, especially since we had to fit 4 ppl's stuff into the room along with the 4 people. Maybe we could've pulled off the closet, but we couldn't turn the light off in there (or at least not and keep the door open), so that was a no go.

Thankfully, what i had with me, instead, was an inflatable thermarest ground pad of the sort often taken on camping trips, and a similarly shaped sleeping bag. It's a little wider than i am lying on my back with my arms at my sides, and i'm pretty average-sized for a girl. That did fit between the overhang on the bed and the armoire, with 6 inches or so to spare.

Does that help any?

odd, we managed to fit an air mattress in a twin room one year. Well, whatever the case, if you move all the furniture off to the side(remember to move it back before checking out, cleaning people have enough to do) you should have enough room to put down a matress. Just make sure its a twin size matress. any bigger and I cant garuntee it will fit.

Or, if you want to and have some cash to spare, go to a sporting goods store and check the camping department. Some of the good stores have these nice foldup cots that foldup to the size of a rolled up sleeping bag. Its much more compact than those aluminum fram cots you usually see and easier to carry. They typically cost about the same as a quality air matress. Course, you can only fit one person on it, but its easier to deal with. I got mine at walmart, but if I were you, id try to buy one at a different store if you can. Its deffinitely worth the little bit extra price.

We had a king last year and it was very tight. We coudl barely fit a rollaway bed in there. We had to rearrange some furniture.

I don't think a large airmatress would fit ,but you have a twin sized air matress you might be able to fit it near the window(thats where we got the cot in) right infront of the desk.

Hope that helps some.
