So I have heard that there is a Fursuit Dance contest or competition of some sort. I may have misheard it but I know that this year I would like to participate. If anyone could point me in the direction of the rules and regulations for it (if it does indeed exist), I would be most appreciative.

Before I start choreographing I definitely need to know the boundaries I have to work with! I need to know so many things. This mostly includes;

Stage size
Length of presentation
stage surface
How many pieces should I have ready
and other details like that.

Thank you all for your time!

A suggested addition to the rules: no artificial dramas.

I forget whether it was AC08 or 09, but I popped into this in time for the last act; partway into it, he appeared to collapse, they killed the lights, yelled for a medic, then made a couple of wisecracks (one of which was "my butt hurts"), and finally brought the lights up and he was back on his feet, and some other suiters came out and helped him finish his act.

Since the other suiters weren't officially part of his act, he was disqualified, and I felt bad for him (and freaked out by the experience itself).

I later found what was apparently his FA journal (unfortunately I didn't save the link and FA's search function isn't that thorough) where he more or less admitted the whole thing was staged Sad

If I'm overreacting or have it wrong, I apologize, but the experience put me off from checking out future contests.

So then the insight I have gained from your reply is that the thing actually exists. ~smiles~

Thank you for that then. Perhaps I need to contact a staff or a chair about it. ~nods~
