What to bring for an minor?

I have been planing to go to AC for years and I'm finally old enough.. well almost. I turn 18 august 1st about a month after the con and I want to make sure that I am not missing any paperwork before I go. Being turned down at the con door would probably kill me inside.
I can only stay one day because I am old enough to get a room (also no one to stay with) so I am driving 8 hours total to be at the con for a day.
I have permission from my parents and going in a week or two to see a notary to finish filling out the notarized permission form.
Also my Drivers license with money for the one day entrance fee.
Is there anything I am missing or anything I should know before the con?
Thank you!
Yes I did ask but they looked at me like I was nuts when I told them it was an 4 hour drive to the con. All I could get was a yes to sign the papers witch is more than happy for me.
I'm also getting back on a cruse the beginning day of AC so I really only have two days to go. If I find someone who has floor space in their room for me for a night that would work but one day mite be a little easier to arrange and on my wallet. Besides I already have plans to go to AC 2011 and 2012 for the full thing.
I just want to make sure if I show up with the notarized paper and my ID that I wont be turned down at the door for not having something.
Your driver's license will be sufficient ID; with that, the signed and notarized form, and your payment you should have no problems attending Anthrocon.
You may well be able to find someone who will let you have a single night's room space, you can certainly ask about in our forums. Sunday night into Monday morning is probably the best night for that, due to a fair amount of roomshares where one person heads home early and the other remains.

hmm I will have to look into that possibility then. Thank you ^.=.^
*Charline de Lyon, the evilest of evil lions, grins toothily* Well, for one thing, you'll need to bring along a fully authenticated USDA inspection sticker. *picks teeth with a crowbar* I generally take no less than Grade A for dinner! I have very high standards for prey! *sighs* Oddly enough, everyone seems to keep getting Grade D or lower. I can't understand it. So hungry. :/
so am i considered grade A since you've tried to eat me twice now?
Not sure... everyone seems grade A on the forum, but then at the con they're all wearing these big labels that say "Grade D" or less, with the warnings 'May be dangerous for leonine consumption'. It's a hard life for a lion these days. :/
fox...plus (an avian's) wings........traaaaaaiiiitooorrrrr!
trrrrraaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiitooooorrrrr!
oh...i thought they were chicken wings. Or worse yet, pigeon wings. hawks are the foxes of the bird-world anyway, so you're good.
Hey! No we aren't!

Have you considered dragging your parents along? You can sidestep the issue about not being able to get a room by having them get a room.
Also, we'll have a panel for your parents to attend called, "So my kid dragged me to this convention" or similar.
