Minor Consent Form Question
So I have my Minor Consent From signed and notarized. My question is, should I mail a copy of it or do I just need it with me when I get to the con? I can also fax the form if need be as well.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
What Protocollie said.
Make sure you have official photo ID as well, so we know it's you.
Chiaroscuro might add something to our comments, dunno.
This very question is in our FAQ! From http://www.anthrocon.org/faq/minors :
# I have my permission form and it's all signed and notarized. Do I send it to you or do I bring it to the convention?
We recommend that you send a photocopy to us (make sure the notary seal is legible) with your registration form and bring along the original to the convention. This way you have something to back you up if the mail gets lost or your bags get misrouted on the way to the convention.
See? Chia is the mongoose with the answers! (Or at least all the FAQs)
Why thank you, Chia! And everybody else. Probably should've searched the FAQ before writing this, huh? :/
It's not a bad thing to do. But it's all right; however, you are now tasked with searching carefully through the FAQ before your next question!

here's a good question that's not in the FAQ, how do you say mongoose in plural?
My preferred plural. "Mongooses" is also valid.
So one is a 'goose and a whole set are 'geese,
Yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a whole nest of mice,
But the plural of house is houses, not hice.
If the plural of man is always called men,
Why shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
The cow in the plural may be cows or kine,
But the plural of vow is vows, never vine.
So the English I think you will all agree,
Is the strangest language you ever did see.
Cobra disposal service.
Mongeese, of course.

Argh no!

Bring the original to the registration desk with you when you either register at the con or pick up your pre-reg badge.
