Fandom Track 11th Hour.
If anyone is still interested in hosting a Fandom Track panel, I've still got a bit of room and some unfilled panels areas, including Wolves, Mustelids, Extinct Animals, Raccoons, and Aquatics. And I'm always looking for more Social meetups on any particular topic!
If you're interested, contact me by the end of Friday at
(Note: Due to how late it is, chances are any further panels will likely be in small rooms, scheduled opposite major events, or both.)
Just curious, asked earlier and it never happened, figured I'd check again, any possible way to see a list of 'all' panels that need more people?
I must have missed that earlier. My sincere apologies!
As it so happens, panels are suggested by the panelists; I don't have a specific queue of panels to fill or anything. Those panels I listed are ideas that I have for panels that I think would be good to get a spot for. I'm completely open to new ideas!
If you have an idea for any particular panel, feel free to suggest it. :>
I do hope this answers your question; if it doesn't, feel free to ask for more clarification. I may have misunderstood what you were asking.
I run countless panels at other cons, I just didn't suggest anything for Anthrocon because frankly I don't have a clue what types of panels happen at furry cons and what people want to see.
Hmm... Does that mean you got my form? I didn't get any confirmation...
As the guy who implemented the programming submission form, I can tell you that it does not send confirmations.
Imagine the potential for abuse if say, someone entered a random person's email address numerous times, and kept resubmitting the form...
If you filled out the Programming Submission form, I can assure you that we received it.
I just E-Mailed my responses to the form I got in the E-Mail I was sent in a reply to said E-Mail. Glad to see I am all set. Thank you.
I have indeed received your submission form and have you on the schedule. It seems I missed sending a confirmation email, and for that I apologize.
*adds "Send confirmation email" to the operation checklist for next year.*
I guess I should also mention that not only are the submitted forms emailed to our Programming department, they are also stored on the webserver. So if there's ever any question of what got submitted, I can (and have, in the past) just download the entire submission queue as a tab-delimited file and put it into an Excel spreadsheet.
Cool! So my feline panel is all set? Will the schedule be posted soon?
Yes, you're all set.
As for the schedule, I can't say for sure when that will be posted, but it'll probably be in the next few weeks.
Fandom track is a segment of the programming for Anthrocon, dealing primarily with interest panels dealing with the fandom. I was just looking for a few more panelists at the end of the submission period. :>
Hope this clears this all up!
