Westin net policies?...
i was hoping to have my laptop connected, and maybe my psp for some battling/multi plaayer stuff, etc, etc...i was basically wondering does the Westin offer free wifi, limitted wifi, pay for a day, etc.
anyone know and willing to share? ^^'

Does this mean that Tigerden's internet room will not be set up adjacent to the Zoo this year?
Usually we can check email, pm's and so on so we don't suffer total internet deprivation...
Tigerden's Internet room should be set up as normal; however, it does not offer Wi-Fi, but a wired connection to Tigerden-owned terminals.

Pittsburgh itself dose have 'free' wifi but thats only for 2 hours and it depends what part of the city your in, there is a number of coffee shops and stores that have free wifi if you needed to get onto the interent.

The Westin has WiFi in the rooms, but it is agonizingly slow. The system was put in place with the idea of allowing a few businesspeople to access email while traveling. It was never designed to support 1000 Furries trying to get onto Second Life at once.
i keep hearing about "Second life" in response to the fandom. what is it?
well i guess i luck out of the norm of the 1K furs intot hat silly game 
i'd mostly be getting on to chat with a few buds for like an hour and then take off to go meet up with people if we can. (that and i usually have my con-room posted for peeps to come visit me if they're present too )
The Westin has pay-per-day internet. Unless some kind person sets up a free access point, you'll not find free Internet at the convention center or the hotel.
There are businesses for offer free WiFi within walking distance of the hotel.
