Registration Deadline looming!
Anthrocon 2010 is less than a month away now, and the deadline for Pre-registration is even sooner, on Sunday, June 6th. And you, yes you, want to Pre-register! You're a fine upstanding individual who wants to help reduce Anthrocon staff's workload by Pre-registering. You're an efficient planner, knowing you can enjoy lines that move on average five times faster than On-Site registration and get back to your fun. You're a frugal cheapskate, knowing it costs you five dollars less- across all levels, Attending, Sponsor, and Supersponsor. And most importantly, you're susceptible to the subliminal messages in this post, telling you it's time to Pre-register!
Visit http://www.anthrocon.org/registration and obey the subliminal messages, today!

A better pic to attach might've been the non-pre-reg line
I cannot begin to stress the importance of pre-registration. Believe you me, everything will be much smoother for us all. We get a much easier verification process, and you get A MUCH SHORTER LINE.
I have stood in the Registration line for about 45 MINUTES.
I have stood in the PRE-Registration line for about 45 SECONDS.
Usually, I've been through the PRE-Registration line FASTER than 45 seconds.
Standing in a line for 45 minutes Ina suit = torture >.<
We really do not encourage people to wear their suits in the registration line. Why? Because you have to show a photo ID, and unless your drivers' license or passport has your fursuit face on it, we're going to have to ask you to un-mask before giving you your badge.
'sides, it gets awfully warm.
Hat would probly be smart to not suit for registration then xD this will be my first time suiting at a con so ya ^,.,^
on a site called fetishzone.com they sell fursuit licenses for 15 bucks (i think)
Fursuit licenses do not count as valid photo ID.
Valid Photo Identification may include:
Drivers' License
State ID
Government ID
Military ID
Passport
Please be sure to have one of these types of identification on you. A State ID is rather easy to obtain, and looks like a drivers' license. They're around $30, depending on which state that you're in. It involves getting your birth certificate, social security card, and some other things. They can ship in 6 weeks or less.
*pats his Supersponser preregisteration, and smiles* I've been ready for this for a very long time.
As for those of you that aren't registered, I'm afraid to say time waits for no one.
"Time waits for no one, but the non-pre-registration line waits on everyone!" (Fellow supersponsor)
When I worked registration last year the on-site reg line was a killer. The wait had to be close to an hour and that line never shrunk while I was there. Pre-reg lines were quick. This year my mate and I decided to go for super-sponsor too.
And Nicona, the *staff* lines are even shorter..
Somehow I am starting to think I am facing the inevitable.

You WILL be assimilated!
Come, join the DARK SIDE. We have more fun! (And no lines!)
Spotweld's Espresso brownies last year were decidedly evil. Delicious evil.
I must've missed those. :<
That's possible. I think Chia made the Registration staff partake in one of the EEEVIL Espresso Brownies so that we'd be super-wired on caffiene and not want to leave Registration to sleep.... ever.

I shun the consumption of highly caffeinated beverages... usually a decent breakfast consisting of fruits, granolas and yoghourt help with natural energy. Too much sugar will bog you down, and caffeine will make you crash afterward.
I know you love your Bawls and Red Bull and Monster... and mixing them... o.O;
....and is there a problem with that? *folds fingers together Mr. Burns-style*
Ahh, I wasn't working at Registration, so that explains it.
Chiaro,
I hope you know that you've created a monster with Nicona. And, he's talking me into it too.
Mwahahaha.
Hey, if I'm going over to the dark side I might as well drag her with me.
Yeah except when you pick up the staff badge you're quickly booted in the ass and sent down to the galley to start rowing.
Rather like the old roman galley joke, yes:
"The good news is, tomorrow you've been given the day off. The bad news is, today the emperor wants to go water skiing."
Ok, Protocollie. So what you're saying is now that I am on staff this is what I have to look forward to?
I can just see Uncle Kage up there commanding and Giza keeping cadence.
Less whipping, more chocolate, but...yeah, more or less.
Wait, was there a subliminal message in that post?
I somehow have an intense craving for simplicity and hassle-free funtime...
what dastardly mind could come up with such a ploy as to instill the need for a lack of line-standing into my mind! CURSE YOU!
Yo people, seriously, pre-reg.
MWAHAHAH!

And if you have it in mind to be a supersponsor, remember that we can only offer the luncheon to those supersponsors who pre-register!
