About Matthew Ebel
One of the fandom's premiere performers, Matthew Ebel has lit the Furry world on fire with his unique Piano Rock style. He's played shows at FA:U, Megaplex, MFM, and was FWA's 2009 Guest of Honor. Outside the Furry world he's backed up major label stars at the Grand Ole Opry, performs weekly as a Featured Channel on UStream, and is generating quite a bit of attention with his groundbreaking subscription site.
Matthew will be performing on Friday June 25 at 3pm in the Main Ballroom.
For Matthew Ebel, music is the key to the journey of life, not just the destination. Whether it’s outer space adventures or a song about being punched in the face, Matthew's songs and stories resonate in the minds and hearts of an ever-increasing fan base. Ebel is also paving the way in the new music economy, showing that it is possible for independent artists to support themselves through their music; growing his audience by utilizing new tools available to artists.
“I want people to take my music and then go off and create something on their own," says Matthew. "The greatest thrill for me is when people write blog posts based on my music or are inspired to do a version of one of my songs in their college choir – it’s the act of creating something new from my work. It’s amazing.”

Okay, this is pretty awesome. I'll have to make it a point to be present.
Hey, thanks guys! I hope to see you there... in suit or not, I tend to do a long show.
Matthew's concert is one of my few "MUST SEE" events this year at AC, between all the random wanderings with the 30 or so folks coming from our Second Life group. I definitely suggest that anyone who's into something fun, entertaining and outside the norm add it to their "must see" list as well!
