I've found some huge Hansa/FAO plush that local PA/NJ furs might like to grab!

Hey there.

While browsing Ebay for deals on these particular brands, I came across a VERY rare find one day before the initial auction offering ended! 3 of the largest and highest-quality plush animals from Hansa sold by FAO Schwartz!

I already bought the standing life-size lion... for only $175! About 1/6 the retail price, and it was worth it. It's still in excellent condition and I can use it for United Paws fundraising at some point. :3

Note: They are for local pick-up only, which is how I was able to nab the lion for such a low price. The potential pool of buyers is small.

There are two others left:

A Kangaroo It's missing an eye, it should be noted.

And a Giraffe which looks to be in perfect condition.

I thought I'd mention it since people have noted that they're often looking for large plush of high quality, but the prices are always too high. I suspect these items might also be really big attention-getters for the charity auction at AC. I recall one plush several years ago selling for several hundred at the auction, and it wasn't nearly as large or as premium a brand as these.

There was a garage sale I saw today with a HUGE plush tiger.(Like the size of a beanbag) But I don't have a need for it myself and don't know how I would get it to anyone who did.

I can't believe there haven't been any local bidders yet! Dang, most people must be in worse financial shape than me! I managed to nab the lion at least! These are HANSA, not just some made-in-China-full-of-cadmium-and-pesticide-and-melamine crap!

If my dad hadn't lost his job (again) this week, I'd have grabbed the other two for the charity auction (where I'm sure they'd make a bundle). Now I have to stick to my budget like Scrooge once more. Though I have no idea how I'd have gotten the giraffe into my Saturn. Sticking out tongue

I'm sure the local pick-up only makes it impossible for most, but I was sure there were at least a few local furs who'd grab a roo or a giraffe of this size and quality for collections.

I'm going to use the lion for my new United Paws office mascot. :3
