Depending on the interest and responses to other inquiries, I can offer a ride from Champaign IL to Pittsburgh
I can pick people up but ONLY if they are along the way:

I would head out EARLY on the 24th and I would head back EARLY on the 27th - I have school starting on the 28th and do not want to be totally frazzled on my first day.

So the car I have is a bulky gas guzzler and I prefer to not-drive 8 hrs straight - so I'm planning on driving to Indianapolis and then ride down with raxvulpine. I see you are also thinking of the same! If you're in IL and making it to champaign is easier/cheaper than making it to IN, then you're welcome to my car.

Maybe email would be easier if you want to give more info on your location and timing and stuff: silvergrin at gmail etc etc!

I have a friend around the Chicago area that needs a ride. I can see about having him get down to you somehow if you'd be able to give him a ride. Do answer ASAP though. I know it's getting close to con time. >.>

I'll be heading out from Champaign early Thurs and then transferring over to raxvulpine's car in indianapolis. If they still have room and your friend can get to Champaign, they're welcome to come with!
Estimated return will be late Sunday.

You don't have to worry about the extra spot taking up space. Just got word that my friend didn't put in for time off, and got hit with work the weekend of AC. Sticking out tongue Ugh, now time to scramble for a contingency roommate.
