Room 309 is on the leftUp until last year, we always ran Con Ops out of the Crawford Room in the Westin Hotel. But as we've moved more and more of the convention in to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center, we figured it would make sense to move the convention's Operations Office into it as well. So starting this year, you can find the Operations Office in Room 309 in the convention center. In the photo to the right, it's the door on the left. Just steps away from the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom. The hours of the office will be as follows:
  • Thursday, June 24th: 7 AM to 2 AM
  • Friday, June 25th: 7 AM to 2 AM
  • Saturday, June 26th: 7 AM to 2 AM
  • Sunday, June 27th: 7 AM to 2 AM
At all other times, including All Day Wednesday and the hours of 2 AM to 7 AM, we will have a Satellite Operations Office open in the Crawford Room, located on the Third Floor of the Westin Hotel, just off of the elevators.

Lost and found will remain in Ops. If something is found between 2 AM and 7 AM, it can be turned in at the Crawford room. Anyone looking for lost articles can come by 309 as soon as it opens at 7 AM

What's the planned speed and orbit of the satellite? And the launch vehicle? Will it be tidally locked with the main ConOps room?
