What counts as a Fursuit?
Do you have to have no skin showing, or could you be wearing paws and a mask?
I for example may or may not be getting a fursuit head this year from a friend. I don't have paws for my hands or feet, but I do have a tail.
Is just a head and a tail enough to count as a fursuit to be in the parade or the games, even though my arms and hands would be skin?
I don't see why not. We accept some Egyptian gods to be anthropomorphic characters, like Horus, who IIRC has nothing anthro about him except for his head.
We have a very subjective definition of "fursuit" at Anthrocon. If it clearly depicts an anthropomorphic animal of some sort and no skin is showing, we consider it a fursuit.
Put some effort into the mask ang gloves, and take any clothes that show very little skin. This is probably the cheapest route to take (and one of the simplest). But remember that fursuiters attract photographers' attention the most.
i only have a head peice it is only the ears and back of the head. it dose not cover my face. and the only other peice is a tail very small would that be apprporiate for this con? plzz i need an ancwer
It is entirely appropriate for Anthrocon; there are many people whom wear no costume at all. onyl about 20% of the convention or so owns a fursuit.
However, that outfit would rather not count as a fursuit by parade definition. The Fursuit parade is only a small (if very visible!) part of Anthrocon.
Anything above and beyond a head and paws counts, most of the time a head, paws and a tail counts as a 'partial' fursuit, although it's considered to be in poor taste to have skin showing- so if you have handpaws that only go up to your elbows, I highly suggest getting some sleeves made cheaply for yourself. (Sleeves generally run $35 or so, very simple to get from any fursuit maker).

I would suggest wearing white gloves. They're pretty easy to find. This would cover skin and might be considered part of the costume. Given that many classic "funny animals" as cartoon animal characters are known had white gloves (Mickey Mouse for example), its believable.
