You know - you could wish to go to Pittsburgh for reasons other than AnthroCon...You might wish to visit the city and check out a game or series of games as a fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates. Or you wish to check out that fine institution of higher learning and research, Carnegy Mellon University. And if it just so happens that you stay at the same hotel that hosts AnthroCon, and you have a little extra pocket change for registering to see what all the fuss is about, well, who would be the wiser, eh?
Of Course - this is contingent upon you having reached the age of majority, 18 or older. If you are a minor, forget about this post, we haven't met, I don't know you, and you can't come in...Not without the notarised permission form, signed by a responsible, custodial parent.
Seriously...When all else fails - ask. Be prepared to tell The Truth. There is nothing here that conservatives need fear, several of the convention attendees are highly conservative, and several others are Good Christians of High Moral Fiber.

Well you do have a point but there has been yet another problem... money wich I don't have and parents won't give
because the plane tickets are kinda expensive from finland to usa. GODDAMMIT!! I hate this country cause it's so far away from everything. Well there's always next year...

As much as I would praise AnthroCon as a great Furry Convention - it isn't the ONLY Furry Convention. There is, in fact, a convention held annually in Europe, called EUROFURENCE. You may wish to check it out!
Still too far away and/or expensive? Seek out other Scandinavian (sp?) furries, or SciFi fans, and go to one of the Science Fiction Conventions. I _know_ there is a substantial body of SciFi Fans in Russia and the Baltic States, go to one of their conventions, and start a "furry Room Party", which pretty much is how american-style Furry Conventions started out.
But First - seek out the other Scandi-Furs, that would be a good start.
