Moving a keyboard vids
One thing I love about conventions is seeing the random unexpected things that tend to happen. I was walking down the corridor to the DLCC and I heard music approaching so I whipped out my camera to catch the random event
It certainly looked like Bucktown Tiger.
Yep, that's Bucktown.
A little story about him from this year -
He left the keyboard in one of the performance rooms. Some kindly attendee thought it had been lost and brought it to conops in 309. We put it in lost and found. Because it was clearly so valuable, we made a special note of it in the security log. A few minutes later, Bucktown wanders in wearing a black T-shirt with white letters saying "RANDOM BLACK GUY". We laughed ourselves silly, took his picture, and gave him the keyboard.
The second entry in the security log reads "Valuable Yamaha keyboard given to random black guy."
Ha! He knows how to lampshade the whole race thing
Hearing him play kind of makes me wish he had more of an "in" than just playing in fursuit (since that obviously slows him down a bit). Could you imagine him doing one or two of Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies---the fast, frenetic and furious ones that appeared in some cartoon shorts way back in the day?

Was that Bucktown?
Man, he plays a mean "Maple Leaf Rag"... I love love love that tune to pieces
