kage if it looks new you can email there tech support or customer service and tell them you found this person cam. the should be able to help you contact the owner if they filled out there warranty card.

Already done. They said they cannot look it up by serial number alone, and even if they could, they couldn't release any information about the buyer.

Any footage of Anthrocon on it that might help to place the guy? Or video that might show a house with a house number or some landmark?

Hmmm...at close inspection of the picture posted, I can see that the individual is indeed standing on a patch Eastern Blue Timothy, a unique grass found in small parts of Rhode Island, in Iceland, and one square mile NE of Kowloon, Hong Kong. His vest is made from a wombat pelt, glasses are from Lenscrafters (modest, so he is a patient, frugal yet honest person) and his hair/goatee can be attributed to the retro stylings from the Grunge scene of the early to mid 1990's.

I would deduce that his name is Richard, he lives in Manitoba and his favorite scent is lavender.

No one should ever hire me as a P.I.
