Fursuit wearers
A while back i saw a show on tv that went into the lives of people who do the anthrocons and their daily routines. A part of the show went into how some of these people wear their fursuits on not only a daily basis but sleep, eat, and do other things(except showers or pools)in their suit. The show nerver said what the term for those people. My question is what do we call the people who literally live in their suits?
I'm not sure there's an 'official' term for such. I've heard of furry lifestylers, but this is behavior far beyond that.
I suspect that this is a VERY small percentage of suit wearers, the extreme outside. Fursuits in general are hot, heavy, and not all that comfortable for long-term use and wearing, especially not for sleep, and the cost of buying one that would allow you to eat and drink normally inside of it(unless you removed the head) would be very high.
So I guess in the end, I suspect that they either exaggerated the amount of time these people spend in their suits, or they simply focused on the extreme end of a very small number of people because weird stuff is good for ratings.
Yeah there are very, very few people who do this. I know people who suit a LOT (Duncan is almost always in suit at cons!) and I know folks who suit at home a lot for fun but I don't know people who do it 24/7.
My personal guess is most of the people you saw would be called 'Exaggerators'. If not 'Downright Liars'. I suspect that anyone attempting to wear fursuits 24/7 very rapidly would give it up before they reached the 7, in most cases.

The best description I heard from a suiter while at AC'10 was, "It's like wearing your couch."
Yeah, it's kinda like that.
Haha, that's the best thing I've ever heard. I'm writing that down.
For me, there would be no way in heck I'd stay inside my suit longer than four hours.
I do it to entertain others. Most of the time, my suit sits in my Action Packer until the next major event.
