Any Ohioans out there?
Are there any Ohioan furries out there in the Miami/Montgomery county area? I feel like the only one in this area.
Sweet! I'm not a big fan of Ohio, sometimes I wish I lived more towards the west coast. But I like that Anthrocon is about four hours away.
That would be much nicer to buy lobsters that are less expensive.
Im from Aurora, Ohio :3
Love to make some new local furry friends, maybe we can all work out a meet up at a bdubbs or something
Too bad Geauga Lake closed huh? I used to live in Newbury lol
We could, maybe.
I'm in the Extreme South of Parma, in Cuyahoga! Originally from Corpus Christi TX.
That's pretty close.
I've never been to Parma.
I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. If you know where Garfield is, yeah im pretty much bordering that area. If you looking for new Fur friends, hit me up. I dont know to many people out here in Cuyahoga so im just Dolo over here.
I'm in cleveland too, cuyahoga! My grandma lives in Garfield hgts but I live on the west side by rocky river and fairview.
Okay
Yeah. haha.
And I've heard of Garfield, but I'm not sure where it is.
well if anyone wants to kick it or just meets up for some grub. Hit me up. Or just add me on FB. Sorry no FA
I'll be in Bowling Green for a good chunk of the year. College 'n stuffs. I'm not sure where that is in relation to the rest of you, but I'd be glad to meet up with some other furs.
Bowling Green (toledo i believe) yeah your like 3hrs out man.
Well I mean if you really want to meet some cool people, gotta travel, Once i get
some work ill see about that. Until then well all need to find some legit place to meet up
I really dislike Toledo. I went up there last Summer in shorts, a tank top and flip-flops. So chilly and breezy. D=
I'm trying to debate weather im going to IN or C-Bus for a Con this weekend, got people wanting to hook up and chill. I'm down to get the ale outta Cleveland for a bit so somethings going to happen outta the to.
Oh yeah ( facebook.com/YungNeptune07 )
Wow, what started out as a quest for the perfect Halloween costume has led me to the possiblity that I may be a furry.
I have been browsing sites not so much for information on fursuit design but more for enjoyment of other people's designs and to see the latest convention vids.
I enjoy wearing costumes, and I really love animal costumes the most. My wife is clausterphobic while I am the opposite. I love closed in places and have been a subnut for years. I feel protected when I wear a nice full size costume.
None the less, I am in central Ohio. Forty miles East of Columbus to be precise.
It apears many of you are farther north.
"one of us, one of us"
Hmm, fursuits as a coping mechanism for agoraphobia?
(not saying you have it, or belittling those who do).
Not agoraphobic. I play bass on stage, and also participate in many volunteer activites.
I just like closed in spaces. Not afraid of crowds or the outside world.
Bass, cool! I play violin on stage too.
lol, i live down in cincinnati. ohio, the land of snow in freakin april.
funny thing about that, too. My mom grew up on the west coast. My dad grew up on the east coast. They met down in texas, where my older brother and sister were born. I'm still at a loss as to how the heck i got here. lulz

Hello to all my fellow Ohioans! I'm on the west side of Cleveland, and would love to meet/hang out with some fellow furries!
Delaware, Ohio here!
I was worried for a second that there were not many ohio anthrocon goers but seeing all the posts I was wrong.
Im with you Zak, Im still trying to figure out if it will be better to drive or go by train. I dont want to fly because I always have bad luck with planes (just yesterday my plane was delayed 5 hours, I was coming back from my 2nd home in NC) The Amtrak in Clev. seems promising, it being only 48 dollars to get there and another 48 to get back (for two people)But then again I like the space and convenience of leaving when I want that comes with a car. But gas...always gas.
How are you guys getting there, or what do you suggest?
As a note, Megabus has just majorly expanded its Ohio routes; it might be a bit cheaper yet than even Amtrak (though the comfort and fun of Amtrak on the Pittsburgh approach, where other furries are bound to be on board, canot be beat!). Remember that with Amtrak you can get a 10% discount if you're travelling to Anthrocon: http://www.anthrocon.org/travel-train

I been steady on the travel update. Mega bussing it out to Pitts, got the round trip for $2.50, cant beat that with a bat. muahahah.
Now i just have to find a legit room #*@$
Way to go Nepper! I also am taking the MegaBus, hopping on the 10AM from Tower City on Thursday June 23rd. Maybe I'll see you there? Hehe. Never traveled by MegaBus, so I'll make sure to give my reviews on here afterwards.
Mega B is cool, got power outlets on every seat to charge your shit. and they have built in wi-fi but i think that it wasnt to good. its good to go on a weekday so that its not packed or you get rushed for a seat. I already have tickets but i might change my dates due to how my room situation goes.
I'm in Ohio but I didn't know we had a Miami.... I'm not the brightest California roll in the sushi bar.
Hi , Im an Ohioan as well, closer to toledo(to the east of) . I like it, Im a transplant from deleware(The state) and maryland.
