Massachusetts furs?
I live in western Mass and was wondering if there was any other furs that live around here that i could talk to and maybe make friends with? 
Any fursuiters?
(Dont worry, i know to be safe when meeting online people.. i just dont have any friends that are furries..and the friends i do have dont really care that im a furry.

well i told my best friend that im a furry, and she didnt take it the wrong way at all.. but she isnt one, and i cant change that about her. ive met a few good friends on here though, hopefully i can meet up with them and keep in contact after AC '11
Bourn a furry to be a furry, you can't just make it happen. However I plan on meeting others and what not at anthrocon so I'm sure you wont have a problem with that.
I am a furrie that lives in Framingham MA, but I do not have my suit yet I am currently making one though for Anime Boston 2011!

Another western-MA furry here! I'm brand new to the fandom but not to the idea... it's great to put a name and an awesome community on something I've enjoyed for so long! It does concern me whether I should go out and tell all my friends about being a furry, but overall my friendship with them doesn't really depend on that part of me, for better or worse. I don't think it's necessary to broadcast it. Of course, if I run into any of them at the convention what a great surprise that would be! I look forward to meeting all kinds of cool people here and at AC!
Eastern MA furry here, I actually live near Kavi, haha, so if you'd like to hang out that would be cool. I'm not in MA though unless it's the summer or one of my college breaks. Otherwise, maybe if we find enough furries we could have a big hang out day in Boston or something. Just suggesting. Anyways, feel free to hit me up whenever.
I was born in Newton, and I grew up in Waltham. I still live in Waltham. I have no record of meeting any other furries (either than mascots for sports teams, businesses, furries at theme parks, or on Halloween), or furry fans. I'm not even sure if any of the people who know me know about my furry interest. I don't have a fursuit, though I did design a mascot for a minor league hockey team in Illinois at one time, and my design got accepted!
Fonsa - I actually went to college in Framingham! I also have family there as well. I might be making a trip to Anime Boston this year with a friend of mine.

Beverly MA...last yr we had a New England/Northeast furs panel and people introduced themselves with location, interests.
It's been around a long time and not sure about outdated info, but there is an Internet Furry Proximity Locator site where you can find people near you.
FurAffinity, etc., has groups for furs in a certain area and fur meets are mentioned.
I fly out of Manchester NH rather than Boston. Given traffic, I might as well take the hour it would take for either and drive to a smaller, more relaxing airport with cheaper parking rate.
You could always take the Commuter Rail from the Beverly Station to North Station in Boston and then the subway to Logan Airport. At least you won't have to drive in to Boston and pay a lot for parking.
Have thought of that (I'm about a mile or so from either Beverly Depot or Montserrat, etc.) or even some kind of deal where you leave your
car off Rt 1 in Peabody and take Logan Express to and from Logan. There are also such things as "North Shore Shuttles" to the airport, etc. I booked
my flight long ago (to leave from NH) and don't mind Manchester, etc but yes there are alternatives.

Kangaroo in Plymouth/ southeast Mass here. you're far from alone being a Mass.Fur. I can second the information that "last year" there was a NE-Fur/Massfur panel offered at some point of the con. I do not see or have knowledge of any sugh offering this year. FurAffinity has the subgroup Massfurs to keep track of state meet and greet/ Massfurbowl is bowling event specific and a few have been held on Cape Cod to this point.

OMG to Maxhusky my grandparents and aunts n uncles live in Chelmsford! I live in Nashua, NH and there is NO ONE that knows what the fandom is! (I know, shocker!)
Anyways, I just wanted to point that out! Both my parents grew up in Chelmsford, so its cool to know that there is someone else out there from Chelmsford!

No, I don't attend anything furry, sadly. I'm too busy with family and work.

All over the place! Just check http://furaffinity.net/user/newhampshirefurs for them! Also the Mass and Vermont furs have frequent meets. There are two I'm attending Friday night, for example. One is one of our group members's band performance in Nashua, and one is a weekend camping thing the next town over from where I live. Then on Sunday is a minigolf event somewhere else.

Yes, I'm from Massachusetts. Have yet to attend any furmeets though. Would love to do so, if possible.

I know that feeling, However my very close friend is a furry but when we get time to hang out is minimal, hes really the only one I conversate with as my second close friend who was also a furry I can't get in touch with! Finding furries around you is tough and I get the occasional (Well what animal should I chose) and of course that doesn't work but I'm well open to talking with fellow furries, I know about 5 people who are furries as well I chat to online and I opened a forum on my server website just for the fandom! If you ever want to talk I'm open for it!
