Hey all,

I've noticed a huge overload of people posting asking 'who'd like to talk to me/be my friend/chat about [fursuiting | dancing | baiting this fishing line]' and figured that a master topic of people who are open to random conversation with contact information might help people looking for new friends and reduce clutter on the board that floods off less frequently asked questions. Just a thought, lemme know if this seems like a bad idea. :]

Either way, I imagine how this would work is if you're open to being contacted, leave any contact information you might want to make available and maybe a couple words about yourself (age might be useful too, just so folks can find someone in their age group, and location as well) and that way people have a list of folks who go to Anthrocon who are open to random conversation with newcomers that might not just fit on the boards. If you're looking for someone to talk with of a particular interest, I guess it's perfectly alright to leave a request out here for people with a similar interest!

So, in the interest of fairness, I'll start out. I'm always open to conversation (though I'm often AFK), and you can reach me on aim/y!m as protocollie and on gtalk as . I'm 23, based out of the Philly area, and my big areas of interest all lie in fursuiting, dance music and djing, though I'm also a fan of geocaching and I write software for a living. I'm anthrocon's music track lead, which means that concerts/the dances/other music-related events are all part of my tiny little kingdom as well, so even if you just want to chat about music at the con I'm always open. :]

You are an evil, evil coon!

On the contrary, Protocollie's idea would decrease traffic.
