I am quoting Uncle Kage:

"Once again, these boards were put in place so folks could discuss the convention and issues related to it. We're not a social networking site (not entirely, that is). Please do not post non-relevant threads designed simply to generate traffic."

..yeah, that's why it was written in the off topic area. I guess I'm stupid, and that's not what off topic means.

Just because you weren't aware of the "rules" on this forum it doesn't make you stupid. While they do have the off topic forum they still like to keep it somewhat related to interests of the furry fandom. Generally traffic generating threads such as "what are you doing?" or game threads are frowned upon as there are plenty of other forums that are more geared towards social networking that do allow such posts. Posts such as these are locked for that reason, but that is usually left up to Uncle Kage or Giza. Just something for you to be aware of.

It's an embedded image of a cross-eyed orange and white tabby LOLcat with the caption "Whut?" If you have a slow connection or if the image server was busy, it may not have loaded when you saw the message.
