charity-2011 AT anthrocon.org

would probably be a good place to start. There are certain limits that the con applies, such a limit on the distance from Pittsburgh and the charity must have a certain tax status (which I don't remember offhand).

Everything Charlie said, and the tax status would be 501(c)3. That means that donations to them would be tax deductible.
