After excessively hearing Ode to Joy (FTW) I was inspired to do a story for a furry graphic novel (I want to become a comic artist and possibly become a famous furry artist.) I haven't planned any characters or anything at all but I have this main idea for it and a code name for this project: Allegro. The setting and the universe of this story is an alternate far future where animals talk and walk on two feet (furries obviously :B), and Man is merely a mythological creature. This world has complex co-existance between religion, magic and technology. An archaeologist finds what seems to be an ancient piece of paper, written in a strange language, with bizarre codes. After further research, he finds out that it's a written song (Ode to Joy), and not just any song: a song written thousands of years ago by an ancient civilization known as the Children of Elysium (humans) thought only to exist in myths. And he soon discovers that this ancient race is still alive somewhere, and the key to finding them lies within this song. I chose this song because it is a complete treasure of humanity (thanks Beethoven x3), and it seems good to describe the human race. Ironically, although it will indeed be a furry story, the story's main theme speaks of human nature. The story is divided into 9 parts, which I call symphonies, each containing 4 chapters, called movements. Instead of the prolouge called prolouge, I call it overture. And the epilouge, being called finale. Just like a musical composition. What do you think? |
