Few questions about the -Omni-

I do realize this particular forum is about the Westin, but I didn't see any other place for questions about the Omni, and the General Discussion didn't seem to be the right place. :Þ

Also, before my questions, let me first say that I did indeed attempt to contact the Omni through e-mail about my questions... I got one back the next night merely stating that it was forwarded to the customer service department or whatnot and that I'd get a reply within 48 hours.

Yeah, it's kind of been 240 or so. :Þ

Now I'm wondering that if I attempt to call them, they'll put me on hold for an hour and forget about me. <_> So that is why I am coming here next.

First, the great age debate -- 18 or 21? I will be 21 on June 30, precisely before AC, so if it's 21, will that make a difference if I reserve a room (or TRY to) there while I'm 20 at the moment, or is it really 18 just for AC?

Next, last year at the Westin, I used my Visa checkcard (a debit card that can be -used- like a credit card) to successfully reserve and pay for a room -- can the Omni do the same, does anyone know? Just to make absolute sure, because you know how different places can be with those sorts of things. And also, if they can, will I be able to do that online, even though the form asks for a credit card, or would it be best to reserve by calling?

Finally, my card expires in June (I'm getting my new one near the end of May), but it's going to be the same number, so will that throw anything off or what, since it's the new card that's going to be read at the hotel? I know I may slightly be splitting hairs here, but I'm a really paranoid person who merely wants everything to go smoothly, heh. :Þ
