So I may be interested in putting a squeaker in the mouth. How exactly does it work? Do you use your actual mouth or in the fursuit mouth?

They're items you put in your own mouth that you buy from stores like Petco. Basically, they're like little whistles. The people who are really good at it actually use their tongue to press it against the roof of their mouth and blow through it while moving their lips under the fursuit head to make it sound like it's talking

i know of several 'suiters that just have a squeaker embedded in their paw.  they time it so that it looks like its in their mouth.  Flux is a good example.  look him up on youtube. Smiling

I think I've seen videos of Flux before... He is the blue 'roo, correct?

I've seen a couple other videos of squeaky fursuits who move their mouths when they squeak, and I thought they usually squeak the in their mouths. But a squeaker embedded in the paws seem like a good Idea, too. :3

I know Skroy had a squeaker at AC this last time.  I think he had his in his mouth, he was very good with it too.

i had the squeaker-paw (squeakaw? pweaker?) at AC, somewhat similar to Flux. made things all the more fun! ^^ (also saw a Buizel with the squeaker-paw).

I like squeakers used the way Flux and some other suiters do.  When they're used as a mode of speech it's almost like overkill to me (and I usually get a headache, lol).


I should add that sometimes as Arlo, I'll carry around a realistic rabbit dog toy that has a squeaker and nom on him for a random cute/fun moment.  I'm in awe of Flux though, to me he's got the greatest squeak/reaction routine.
