I don't feel so bad anymore.
It used to astonish me the sorts of items left in our lost and found. Expensive cameras, telephones, I-pads, I-pods, purses, passports...
Now I do not feel so astonished anymore.
"ERIE, Pa. (AP) - November 17, 2010 -- An Erie-area police chief says he has disciplined two officers for 'a perfect storm of mix-ups' that caused them to leave an unmarked car behind in Pittsburgh after they attended a conference for SWAT officers in September. "

"Dude, Where's My Car?" You'd think that at least one of the returning officers might have noticed that had an extra passenger (or two) in their car...
Shared this with the office. ^_^ Speculation here is that noone noticed until some underling did an inventory check, or some mechanic was supposed to do maintenance and couldn't find it.
I wonder how much they were charged in excess parking fees ??

Well that is intersting to say the least..I wonder how they got back if they had been riding in it...
Simple! "Who's driving the unmarked unit back?"
"Oh, Frank'll drive it."
Meanwhile, Frank's under the impression that Jeff is going to drive it back, and hops into Phil's car.
Well, someone had to have the keys to the car in their pocket - and that particular individual should hve been expected to know what was going to happen with the car.
maybe it was pink, and that's why no one wanted to drive it back. just speculation tho

Wow, losing trinkets and doo-dads is nothing compared to losing an entire CAR. XD
