Which email addy is correct for panel submissions?
@KP (or any other con staff that can help.) :
Back on Jan. 20th, I submitted a request to host a panel for AC this year called "How to Commission a Fursuit." About 1-2 weeks ago, I got an email from KP telling me to fill out a more detailed form with more info. about the panel I wanted to do. I filled out all required fields in the form and replied back. But here's the problem: When KP sent me that form to fill out, it came from a "masquerade-2011@......" email addy. I thought all panel requests/submissions were supposed to go to a "programming-2011@......" email addy? Anyway, I replied to the masquerade email sent by KP telling me to provide more panel info. But I also sent a secondary email with the same extra detailed panel info. to the Programming email addy in case the Masquerade email addy was wrong or my email got lost. I'm confused as to which email addy was the right one to reply to and send my detailed panel information to?
Panel information should be sent to programming-2011 AT anthrocon.org . However KP also does the masquerade which is probably why you received the email from the masquerade-2011 AT anthrocon.org address instead of the programming address. In the long run either of those addresses will get to KP.
I have sent you a follow up email. I do receive and reply to messges from both the masquerade and the programming emails. Everything is in order and the panel is being scheduled.
Thanks for the reply, KP.
Sorry for any problems or confusion on my end.

The safest bet would be to click on the Contact Us button above these postings and send it to whichever address is appropriate. The Board and Staff members wear many multiple hats. Sometimes (shush, don't let anybody know this), they make small mistakes. They correct them as soon as possible, but it helps them a great deal when we send things to the right address, especially if this looks to be one of the rare times they've made a mistake.
Even though they are the Great and Powerful Board of Directors and Staff Members, they aren't infallible.
(Yet, that is. Kage's working on it.)
