what density of foam  would be best for the head ,high or medium or does it really matter.  Smiling

Typically, people get foam with a density from 1/2" to 1".

i get 1 inch thick foam from wallmart in a big roll but i dont think it matters how thick the foam is as long as it holds its shape your good

I generally use what I have on hand. The thickness of the foam is usually about 1 inch and the density generally is soft to medium.

The denser foams are easier to trim and shape than the softer foams with razor blades or scissors.
