The Anthrocon Fandom Track is still accepting panel ideas and submissions.  We've still got lots of space on the schedule, so feel free to contact me at about hosting a panel.

Two panels I'm very much hoping to get this year are a Greymuzzle Meet and Greet and a Husky Meet and Greet.  If you happen to be interested, please contact me immediately!

I'd also like to add that the "Fandom Track" hosts many of our most social panels.  If you're wanting to host a panel for regional groups such as a "Texas Furs Meet adn Greet", "a New England Furs Social Meet",etc....this is the track to submit to!  Also if you are wanting to host events about specific species such as the "Husky Meet and Greet", "Those Fabulous Felines", '"Greymuzzles", "MilFurs" or other such groups, then this is the place to submit those panels.

If you have an idea for a panel, contact Arrow at to get things set up. Smiling

KP

But we already have a Grey Muzzles "Meet 'n Greet" event each year...

...It's called the SuperSponsors' LuncheonSmiling

Hahaha. I hope to break that trend the next time I am able to go to AC.

What all is involved with running the Greymuzzle Meet & Greet?

Well, you'd be the designated panelist for the meet and greet and would need to be at the panel location at the scheduled time; you'd also act as a moderator and discussion runner for the panel.  And that's about it for most of the meet and greets.  At this moment I've got an email out to Waarhorse about the panel, and I'm waiting for a response.

I see, it's more of a panel than anything then. I was picturing it being more of a social thing perhaps with snacks and stuff.

I've hosted/co-hosted scuba fur panels before so I don't see that being much of a problem, and at 52 I'd certainly say I'm grey enough.

Snacks would be nice but that would run into cost issues.  The DLCC does not allow outside food to be brought in so any snacks would have to be provided by the DLCC catering staff.  This could quickly become too expensive.

That's fine.

I was just saying that's what I thought it might be, not what I want it to be.

We do indeed have the Milfurs/Greymuzzle Breakfast.  It is at 8:30 AM in the Hotel restaurant.
