So, how many have pre-registered to date and how does it compare with last year?
At present there are 1495 people pre-registered; That puts us about 10% ahead of last year (I can't get too exact, as we only subtabulate by month.)
I didn't realize so many people wait to the last minute or reg on-site. Wow!
The last few weeks are always the busiest, and about a third of people register on-site.. despite the lines. and higher cost. I tend to attribute this to mostly new attendees, which run rrroughly 20-25% of attendees each year.
I know a lot of people who register at the con year after year. For the people I know, it's the unfortunate aspect of their jobs...their vacation time isn't guaranteed until perhaps two or three weeks beforehand. By then, it's well past the end of online pre-reg. I can imagine this being a problem for a vast number of attendees - most jobs won't guarantee vacation days six months out.
Technically my job doesn't do that either, but since I'm indespensible, I pretty much get to tell my boss "Don't schedule me the weekend of ##-##, because I will not be in town".

Trying to get my whip fixed and paying for a speeding ticket i got in PA already, so my pre-reg deadline is ughhh na. I'm most def going to be there since i paid for my round trip tickets already, if i find a room its going to be even better or im just gunna have to party till i die....or go home.
im glad i always pre reg. i got scared the first tiem i saw that never ending line, i helped with registrationfor i think 7 hours and it didnt' even look like it move at all

speaking of portal three i have a few problematic thoughts going for it. as far as im concerned glados is portal without her the game is just another puzzle game with an interesting primis (it would be like taking out the music from chime) the problem is the main character is chell, so either they get rid of chell, which would suck cause i wana know where she's going. get rid of glados, which would suck because the best part of portal two is right after you wake her up hands down, and thats BECAUSE of glados. or find some ham fisted way to reconect the two, and the problem with that is that they have gone there seprate ways and reconnecting them might now work out so well.
I'm getting a new fursuit,
