Hello all, me again with another question. I reserved my room with me debit card (I know that's a big no no but I got it covered), but the thing is I plan to pay the room in cash like I have for the last two trips and I was wondering, do they still need to see the card I used to reserve the room? I got a new (and a much better) card and I want to close my old one but I want to be sure the hotel doesn't need it before I do.

Best suggestion:  call the hotel involved and explain the situation.  Ask them what they'd like you to do in this case.  If the deposit has cleared, they'll probably just ask you for the new card number.

The people running the hotels (all hotels, not just Anthrocon's) are usually pretty reasonable people, especially when you're trying to make sure they get their money!
