Programming - Quick Update
Hi all,
I know around this time, I usually love to put out a lot of event descriptions about things that are happening at AC this year. That should be happening shortly....but just as an explanation...we have over 160 individual events in the grid right now, and I'm still getting updates, offers, changes, etc. The schedule is starting to burst at the seams in certain time slots, so I'm working diligently to get things situated. Rest assured, there will be no shortage of things for folks to do at Anthrocon this year....but if you are still on the fence about hosting an event....we need you to get that into us NOW. This really is the very end of the scheduling process...and the schedule grid will close for changes and revisions shortly...and will go into the proofing process and off to our printers.
So please.....if you are planning to host an event, or have just decided you want to host an event....contact us immediately.

Just for curiosity's sake, could you elaborate a little? Do you mean how to help them out getting through crowds, making sure you don't trip them, stuff like that? Or something else?
Do we have a how to treat a fursuiter panel?
This is covered under "So This is Your First Anthrocon?" which usually runs Friday afternoon.
I'll let somebody else dig up some Youtube excerpts.
Is there any way to find out if a proposed panel has been accepted, even if the day and time hasn't been settled yet?
I'm looking at purchasing new equipment for my proposed panel, and it would be helpful to know if I need to order it in time for this convention. Thanks!
Email the appropriate track lead for information. Else, the final schedule will likely be out soon; this is a very busy time for programming staff!
How do you find the individual track leads and emails? I know KP is the main person to go to for programing but I haven't seen an individual list of contacts for private messaging or emailing directly.
Hmm. I thought there was one.
If it's a Fandom Track panel, I can be reached at . Not sure on the others.
Simular issues with the other commenters. I am hoping to host a face painting panel again this year but I haven't been given notice its been approved, let alone a time or a place. I would like to advertise some details out ahead of time if we get the green light.
I wish I could go this year, but I can't go to an AC until 2017.
Because, Thats when I should be legal enough to go with me and a few friends. (Graduated from Highschool that year.) Plus I'm broke.....
Oh, so there was still a possibility of hosting a panel? Then I'm left wondering why my offer was never given a response, not even a negative one.
