dealer's room - 'receipt of your application'

hey there. i sent in an application about a month ago and i've never heard anything back, whether it was received--am i to go under the assumption that it wasn't? upon emailing [a week ago] i've had no response so i don't quite know how to verify this. it appears that tables are given out as soon as the applications are 'complete' with tax numbers, and according to the guidelines listed on the website, a dealer has six weeks after the receipt of application to get that tax number in--are tables held for those without tax numbers? do we just assume that the app has gotten there if nobody pipes up and lets us know? i haven't sent my license app out yet because i never heard back; i don't want to have to fill out paperwork if i don't really have to [due to being on a waiting list or whathaveyou]. i don't want to miss out due to mis-wording in the dealer's packet/if i couldn't have been told 'hi, we got your application today.' any info will be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance, -'jill0r' |

I apologize that you didn't get a response to your email request--normally that's the best vector to find us, but once in a while...
Your application is in hand, I do believe, but has not gone through processing for assignment.
Tables are assigned to all applications as they come in, whether or not the tax ID is present. Those dealers on the map posted recently are those who have provided IDs and are "completely confirmed"--there are other dealers who are not shown, as we're waiting on more information.
I'm unsure about the "six weeks from receipt" bit; that's not something I'm familiar with. I'll verify with the Dealer's Room head.
We'll be running more applications tonight and this weekend, and you should get a confirmation email with your table assignment and other details we may need from you.
Sorry about the whole "waiting in suspense" scenario--we genuinely don't like leaving people in the dark.
