I've started working on my fursuit head (which BTW, foam works well with glasses, if you can remember that topic)

And everything has been going well. But, now I've ran into a 'speed bump'. I can't get the eyes in the right shape, or keep the color proper.

I'm using Matrcie's eye tutorial to try getting it right (same materials) But continuing failure on this 'simple' step is driving me insane.

Any ideas on a solution/pattern/other route?

When I do plastic bowl eyes I draw the eye shape out on paper frist, that way you can easily cut it out and hold it up to the head to see if it works, than when you have the shape you want, cut it out in plastic. As for color, I use buckrum for the 'see-through' parts (as does Matrcie's now) and I color directly onto the buckrum with sharpies (these need to be sealed afterwards to avoide running)
