Gee.. um... not much. I guess the one videogame scene that *almost* made me cry is when Yuna performed the sending "dance" at Kilika Island in FFX.

Lets see, I've cried a few times in gaming history. Guess I'm just a big softie inside. But I cried at the death of Aeris (FF7), end of FF10, I don't remember exactly which cut scene but one of them in Legend of Dragoon, end of FF8, end of Zone of the Enders 2, and that's all I can think of. But of all of them FF7 elicited the most emotions from me. I become very emotionally involed in my roleplaying, especially if the story is so intense and grabbing like in 7. Guess it helps that I'm an FF7 superfan... so saws the Red XIII tattoo on my arm.

Hah hah! Well, I guess I'm not a huge softie. I still like to get into fights for fun, but deep down inside I still have emotions. They just come out when I get wraped up in something like a movie, game, or book. Hey, it's only a few months away, we can chill at AC, I really look forward to meeting you too. *Hugz back*

Coming up on the last level of one of the hardest games I ever played... I'm seeing my path to glory... Then there's a small flash! Darkness fills my world. All that I knew has been replaced with a simple "Video 3: No Signal". I stare in disbelief as the smoke starts filling the room, watching my brand new PS2 smolder as the internal power supply shorts out. I have since sworn off console games in leiu of PC games.
No, I don't remember the game, and it wasn't really all that hard.

Does it count if I started rampaging after playing 6 hours worth of Gun (for PS2) and experienced a poweroutage during a blizzard, only to realise I had not saved at all and ended up losing all that game time?
Frusteration ensues..lol. Of course Having a severe case of the flu and being uncomfortable and feeling rotten didnt help my attitude none when that happened.

permalinkOne time I was playing Star Trek Voyager: Elite Force for PS2. I had gotten up to a point where some dude ran down a hall, it exploded next to him, then I had to go through that hole in the wall to kill lots of bugs and save the ship. I got killed at that point. So I reloaded, played through to that point and saved JUST before that scripted event...
Then it never happened. Dude ran down to the end of the hall and stopped. Just stood around. I pushed him towards the script point, I shot the wall, everything. I spent two hours reloading and trying to initiate that script. But my save game was useless.
At that point in the game, the in-game clock had registered me as playing for 12 hours.

Gluuuuh that sucks!!!!
Can't say i have ever had one of those situations happen thankfully, but I do tend to forget to save my progress in games..lol which causes some stress when I die and realise my error ^.^

One time while I was playing Dead Rising, it was in the begining of the game right before I could crawl into the air vent onto the roof, I was supposed to talk to Otis and get the walkie-talkie from him. You get it as you try to go into the vents. Well, I walked up to him and... nothing happened. He wouldn't say anything. I tried to go through the vent anyway, but it wouldn't work. I could push him around which was kinda fun. He never changed positions. It was like he had little wheels on his feet and he just went whereever I pushed him. Luckily, it wasn't too far into the game so I just restarted.

permalinkhad a friend had gotten kingdom hearts II and just put 18 hours on it i came in and asked to see the intro so he saved it and rebooted when it came to the point in the intro to save he saved over his 18 hours then when he realized what he did he chased me for about 20 min

permalinkWhat video game moment has made me cry you ask? Well that would have to be every time the screen says "GAME OVER" after I just spent my last quarter.
Remember that guys? You're like ten years old and you're playing Double Dragon at the local arcade and just as you're about to get to some crucial part of the game, Bobo clotheslines you or something and you see the last heart in your life meter blink into non existance and you realize... you have no more allowance left.

i once spent a total of $5 at an arcade with my freind playing a game called "carn-evil" this carnival themed pump action shotgun esque game. kinda boring but fun non the less. the only game i've ever finished in an arcade.
As for crying, i would say aerith's (aeris') death in ff7, but it's been over played, and mentioned earlier in this thread, other than that i'd have to say 'Draken: the anceint gates' got the best weapons and armor, went to the last part of the game did everything and for some reason i wasn't allowed to progress, i must've got a glitched game and was never able to find another. i've went as far as asking gamefaqs.com for help, no suck luck. i've even played through a second time to make sure, yup, still glitched.

The ONLY game moment that made me cry: In Shadow of the Colossus, in the ending scene, for some reason, the scene of the girl holding the baby in the large garden, watching the sunset, with the loyal horse standing nearby...I don't know why, but it made me sad as hell...I actually cried!
