Unofficial Official Anthrocon 2011 iPhone App
Thanks to the efforts of Vulpes and Swiftfoxfire, we now have an "Official Unofficial" iPhone app:
The app can be downloaded from here.
Two furs are working on it on Twitter.
Cool!
Ive been watching this thing for awhile. I love the count down thing :3
I lack a smart phone, so I'll be traditional and keep my pocket size program book with me.
Ok thats just awesome!!!!!
Thanks for this!!!!
This is sweet. Downloaded and running on my Itouch. Now just need the Android for my phone and set for the con.
Android app. PLEASE!
... Is it bad that I went out and bought an iPod Touch for this? Oh well, it was pretty much just an excuse to do what I have been adamant about NOT doing. (I hate Apple)
Just uploaded the update to the App Store. I'll post back when the update is reviewed and approved by Apple. The new features include a schedule which links to the Sched website for event details and the ability to swipe to mark a dealer. A note about the schedule -- it does NOT fetch new events from sched, it only links to the event details. We wanted the ability to see the schedule offline because data service can be spotty.
So are leopards.
Thankfully, we have plenty of room in Ops for ours, so we don't have to cram him into an iphone (he wouldn't like that).
Are you kidding? He's a software engineer! Being inside of software/computing devices... It's what they do!
But where would he put his single malt?
Plus, there's so much storage space, it HAS to be roomy in there...
atmosphere... Black holes... astronauts.... jupiter... THE BIG DIPPER! THE BIG DIPPER!
SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! X3
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! X3
I'm the best at Space!
For those playing the home version of this game, there is now a Droid app.
... darn it, I wish I could afford to go get an Android Based phone, but alas, I don't make enough to pay the monthly bills (which are ridiculous). Darn me for being a broke college fur. hehe, not too broke to not go to Anthrocon, though.
To note, Virgin Mobile offers Android phones with monthly service starting at $25 a month.
Ooh, thanks Chi. I'll look in to that. Only problem is, the service around here isn't that great. Maybe it will be better when I move this fall...
Great app, but just a couple notes...
- There's a glaring typo on the Con Info page (Adddress)
- The hotel information page really should have links so you can call the phone numbers, go to their websites and look at the addresses on Google Maps
- One note about the Map (so far): Big Mamma's is sadly closed. So you might want to remove its pin from the map. It's kind of sad too because I loved that place!
Other than that, it's awesome. I like the countdown feature

Need one for Android!
