I don't know how you normally wash your fursuit but I usually hand wash my suit in cold water using Woolite detergent.  I think that this method might also work to get the sucker out of the fur.  Perhaps just soaking the effected area in cold water with detergent.  This should soften it up a little and allow you to work it out of the fur, you may need to take your time though.  You definitely don't want to just pull it off because you will loose some fur that way.  Once the sucker is out wash the area thorougly to get the residue out.  Then rinse the suit out and let it hang dry.

If you can localize the water to that area (if you don't want to wash your whole suit, that is) for long enough, the sucker will eventually become slippery again and slide off. Your issue then would be the syrup still on your fur.

I agree with Nicona and Glelin, above.  I'd follow Glelin's suggestion for soaking the local area first and use warm water.  I wouldn't go beyond warm to the touch.  Then wash with cold water with a small amount of detergent to get the rest of the sticky substance out.

I second the motion for spot-cleaning with warm water. A sucker is just sugar (and/or corn syrup, and colors and flavorings) which has been boiled to the point where it hardens into candy when it cools. Since sugar dissolves in water, soaking it in water will turn the sugar back into a liquid form and you can get it out of your fur. The warmer the water, the better it will serve to melt/dissolve the sugar. Then a little spot cleaning with some very mild detergent (possibly a mild dish detergent) should help get out the last of the sugar and hopefully any dyes from the candy will come out, too. Then rinse away the soap, air dry, comb it out, and you should be good to go!

For such spot cleaning, I would hold a dry rag in one hand against the backside of the area which you are cleaning, and use wet rags to work on cleaning the front, so as to concentrate your cleaning efforts on the affected area and not soak your whole suit.

Good luck!
