Hey guys, well I have a question about the minor consent:
You see, I already got a plane ticket, hotel room, and well, everything... The problem is that I'm 2 months away from turning 18 (funny, cuz this trip is a present for turning 18) but I just noticed that I need to get the consent signed by a notary, well the thing is that here I have to pay around 200 dollars to get it signed...
I mean my parents agreed and filled it, I'm just missing that damn seal... Is it really important? Can I go in without it?
I'm gonna be hanging around with adults if that helps... Hope you answer soon...

If your notary is charging $200, find a different notary.  That is robbery.

And yes, we need to have assurance that the signature is genuine.  You can thank some youngsters back in 2001 for that.

A Passport is _wonderful_ identification. That will be just fine. Smiling

As for the Notary issue, I will send you a Personal Message about this.

Passports, wherever they're issued, are completely acceptable forms of ID.

You're probably in very good hands with Chiaroscuro so I'll certainly defer to him, but did you try your bank? My bank has never charged me a fee for notarizing documents because I'm a customer of theirs, so perhaps your own bank will offer the same courtesy.

My answer is always YES, only if NO isn't required.

Nope, you don't need a visa if you're coming from Europe, you just need to pay the ESTA

Romania does not participate in the Visa Waiver Program.  You will need a visa to travel to the USA.
