UPDATED: ROOM IS SPOKEN FOR, THANKS!

Due to circumstances beyond my control I have one entire room with two double beds available for 4 nights starting Thursday, June 23rd and departing Monday, June 27th. 

I will be attending the convention however I will be staying with other folks at the Westin. 

Payment will be due as soon as you arrive and I'll hand over the room-keys at that time.

Just remember that if your credit card is attached to the room, then all liability and incidental damage charges are your responsibility.

If you can cancel, I highly recommend that you do so. That is, unless you find some people that you really trust to be responsible.

If you can get the hotel to replace your credit card with theirs, then that is also a good way to go.

Yeah, I'm seriously considering just cancelling to avoid all that nonsense.  Thanks for the concern though!

I'm possibly interested. Hotels will sometimes allow you to change the name on the reservation - perhaps you could call and find out?

EDIT: Adding for clarification, of course I'd pay you for the deposit if they won't refund that to you. Ideally I'd love the reservation itself changed over so I have my name since that's better for both of us. If they can't do it over the phone, ask if we could do so in person at check-in?
