Quick newbie dealer question

hihi but I got a notice just the other day saying I have not filed a return and need to do so. I didn't know I had to since the date of first sales would be anthrocon, I thought I would only have to file after the first date of doing business and not the date of getting the number so in short I need to file. but the thing is I am not exactly sure just what I need to file -_- thank you =^_^= |
sorry if I am posting to the wrong area for this question. I am new to the whole dealers thing but really want to be in the dealers room this year

Uhhh...someone's made an error.
You need to do one of two things:
1) Call the tax folks and say, "What the crap? I told you that the date of my first sales in PA would be July 6, 2007. Why are you telling me to file a return?"
or
2) Go to ETIDES, the PA Department of Revenue's electronic tax-return system. Set yourself up an ETIDES account, and click through whatever the "file sales and use tax" links are. Choose the tax period that they are yelping about (whichever one the notice said had to be filed), and then just enter 0 (zero) on every single line. This makes their computer happy and they will stop pestering you.
